SUMMER IN SAINT TROPEZ
15. June 2024
After finishing the final exams of our master’s degree, my friends and I went to Saint Tropez to celebrate.

We stayed at a cute little hotel in Saint Maxime, a beautiful and less hectic small town right next to Saint Tropez.

Our first stop was of course Ramatuelle and its famous beach clubs.

We had an amazing lunch at Shellona, I can absolutely recommend this place. All the dishes are meant to be shared, so you can just order lots of different dishes and basically eat your way through the entire menu.

After lunch, we walked over to Bagatelle for a second to say hi to some other friends who were having lunch there, but we decided to go back to Shellona and continue partying there. And let me tell you, people in Saint Tropez know how to have a good time 😀

The next day, we had breakfast by the port and went for a stroll through Saint Tropez after. I love how you just keep finding the most beautiful areas wherever you go in the South of France, I will never get tired of this.

We ended up at a classic, Dior Des Lices, the famous Café in front of the Dior store. After a small coffee break, we headed back to Saint Maxime, to freshen up and get ready for the evening ahead.

Since traffic can get really bad in the area, especially on summer weekends, we decided to take a boat to our dinner in Saint Tropez instead. It was just a quick trip but so much more fun than driving, and we were all very happy we listened to our lovely receptionist who gave us the tip.

Before we headed back to Monaco on the next day, we had an unforgettable dinner at L’Opera in Saint Tropez. It was definitely a “special” experience and a night I will never forget – if you know, you know 😀
As always, I shared a lot about this weekend on my instagram, so if you want to see more of our time in Saint Tropez, the beach party, and our crazy dinner, head over there.
A WEEKEND IN SAINT JEAN CAP FERRAT
14. April 2024
This weekend, I did not only attend the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, I also went to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for the first time and I think I found my new favorite place at the Côte d’Azur.

Wherever you look, you will find the most beautiful views, one more breathtaking than the other.

Instead of taking the bus, I decided to walk the last stretch and slowly make my way up the hill to the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Even something as mundane as a car park looks absolutely stunning here.

We got ourselves an audio guide and explored the villa and its history. It really fascinated me how the villa was only built between 1905 and 1912, while its interiors and the furniture from the Louis XV and XVI eras made it seem way more antique. But then the audio guide reminded you how Béatrice de Rothschild, the baronesse of the villa, was a “modern woman” and prefered to drive her own cars.

Not only the villa but also the attached gardens were a work of art.
My newly engaged friend started wondering if it might be possible to privatize the garden for weddings and if so, how big of a fortune it would cost.
A girl can dream, I guess… 😀

We took our time exploring the beautiful gardens before making our way down to the port.

Down by the port, we chose a lovely restaurant to have lunch. Great food, good prices, and exceptional service. If you ever come to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, “Le Saint Jean” is a clear recommendation.

We ended the trip with a few hours by the beach. While the peninsula offers beautiful bays at every corner, we chose the famous Plage Paloma to relax for a while.

While we initially wanted to take the bus back, we ended up walking all the way to the train station because the bus just didn’t show up. Welcome to France 😀
It wasn’t bad at all though. With views like this, I could keep walking for hours.
It was a weekend filled with memories that will stay with me for a long time and I am already excited to go back very soon, since I have friends visiting next week and I definitely need to show them this special place I just completely fell in love with!
A WEEKEND IN AMSTERDAM
10. March 2024
To escape the everyday uni stress, I went on a little weekend getaway to reunite with my friend who is living in Barcelona.

Even though we were expecting it to rain all weekend, we actually got quite lucky and explored the city in the sunshine.

We have both been to Amsterdam before, so there was absolutely no pressure to do any sightseeing. First things first, we went for a long walk in Vondelpark, enjoying the unexpected blue skies.

After all that walking, we obviously had to refuel ourselves with some well-deserved sugar. Luckily, my friend had just been to Amsterdam two months before and still had her list of café recommendations at hand.

We kept on wandering through the city, exploring districts both of us haven’t been to before.
The Amsterdam architecture has such a cozy and unique touch, we both got reminded of how much we love the city.

After some more hours of walking, our feet really started to hurt, so we headed back to the hotel. It was time for room service and getting ready for the actual reason for our trip…

We went to see Noah Kahan perform at AFAS Live. We had the time of our lives, singing along to all the wonderful songs. I haven’t been to a live concert in years, and I remembered how much I love to see artists perform live. It just connects you even deeper with the music and you create memories that can last a lifetime.

The next morning, we went for another walk again. Amsterdam was glowing, everyone was outside enjoying the sun. Even though we were both returning to more sunshine and even higher temperatures, it was really hard for us to leave so soon.

I was so happy to see her again!
If you live in a long distance friendship, take this as your sign to go a nice little weekend trip to reunite with your friend. We had the time of our lives!
Two blondes on tour. Here’s to many more trips together!
A WEEK IN ITALY
20. February 2024
As part of my master’s program at the International University of Monaco, we recently went on a field trip to Italy. We started in Milan and then spent a few days in Fraciacorta, in the Italian countryside.

In full school trip manner, we got on a bus and drove from Monaco to Milan. Our pit-stop was in Serravalle, a famous Italian designer outlet, where we got lunch and did some shopping before continuing to Milan.

On of our days in Milan was focused on Armani. First, we got a store showing of “Armani Casa” the flagship store of Armani’s interior collection. I would’ve purchased half the store if I could, everything was so beautiful.

Straight after, we continued with “Armani Silos”, a museum dedicated to the art of fashion and Giorgio Armani’s incredible creations. Even without being particularly passionate about fashion history, this was definitely a highlight! The way he got inspired and the frequency at which he managed to create masterpiece after masterpiece stunned probably every person in the room.

The next day wa spent in the name of high-end jewelry. We visited the Buccellati showroom as well as a secret hidden office and factory of Pomellato. For safety reasons, we weren’t allowed to take photos for most of that day, so I don’t have a lot I can share here but rest assured, the creations of both brands were breathtaking. We all felt so privileged to have the opportunity to get these rare insights behind the scenes.

Our schedule was packed and the time in Milan was limited, to we used our only free afternoon for a quick trip to the city center to at least tick off some sights from our tourist checklist.

After a visit to the Duomo Milano and a quick stroll through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for a lovely dinner at Ceresio 7, before continuing our trip to Franciacorta the next day.

Our hotel beautifully rested on top of the rolling hills of the Italian countryside. From there, we went out for the day, again with a filled but exciting schedule.

We started the day at the Porsche Experience Center, getting a tour of the entire facility, its training center, as well as its racing track.

After we finished the tour, it was time to race some laps ourselves. It was my first time doing a driving simulator and damn, it was harder than I thought! I really needed the (very stressful) practice lap to get the hang of it but after that, it was so much fun!

After having lunch at Porsche, we drove over to Ca’ del Bosco, one of the biggest vinyards of the region. Here again, we got a private tour of the facility. We learned a lot about the production process and of course finished the visit with a little tasting of the product we had just learned so much about. I don’t really drink a lot of alcohol but now I definitely have a new found appreciation for good wine!

After Porsche and Ca’ del Bosco the day still wasn’t over, we had one final stop on our list.
A real Italian jem, especially for boat lovers, is of course Riva.
We visited the facility where Riva boats are still built today, we learned about how the production process has changed throughout the years, and we saw some real icons on display. For example, the first and last Aquarama ever built are exhibited there, at their location right at the foot of the Lago d’Iseo.
We even took a look inside Carlo Riva’s office, that he had fully customized and that he loved so much that even after having sold the company, he still came back to this office every day to work on his new projects.

On our final day of the trip, we visitied Beretta. An Italian manufacturer of not only military firearms and sport rifles but also of high-end personal handguns, a company with a rich heritage.
I don’t think any of us were necessarily passionate about guns before but the few hours we spent at the Beretta estate, learning all about the product, made us realize that they are really creating something very special there.

The premium selection of their historic guns was impressive. Every single piece was, and still is today, fully hand-made, using only the finest of woods, every tiny piece of metal is carefully engraved, every finished product is a masterpiece in itself.
For their military weapons, Beretta heavily invested to build a fully automated factory, the first of its kind. For safety reasons, unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take any pictures there. It was astonishing to see such a big factory with only about 5-10 people working there, making sure all the machines were running smoothly. Again, a very interesting and memorable visit.
Eventually, we had to get back to Monaco. After getting home, I just slept for two days, recharging my batteries after a very busy week. We did so much in such a short time, we really made the most of our time in Italy.
This is definitely one of my longer blog posts although I really limited the content already.
I have shared way more of this week on my story, so if you are interested to see more, head over to my instagram and check out my story highlight Italy 2024!
CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IN LONDON
23. December 2022
Is there anything more festive than the idea of ‘London during Christmas’? I dont think so. That is why, this year, I decided to make the idea become reality and booked the trip.

Since it was my travel companion’s first time in London, we started off with some sightseeing. When I was in London the previous time, Big Ben was still under construction, so it was nice to now see it in its full glory again.

To continue our sightseeing, we went for a walk along the River Thames. Starting at Westminster, we made our way down east, all the way to Tower Bridge where we discovered the wonderful restaurant ‘The ivy‘. Their truffle burger was so delicious, oh my goodness.

Of course, we couldn’t do a sightseeing tour without taking obligatory pictures in all the typically touristy places.

No matter how many times I’ve been there, the City’s architecture always enchants me. Whether it is Westminster Abbey, the National Gallery, or some random random street in Kensington – I find London to be simply beautiful.

Starting our trip, we were very uncertain about the weather that would expect us in England but surprisingly, we were very lucky and could enjoy some sunny hours every single day. We ended our touristy day with a spectacular three-course dinner menu at ‘The Delauney‘ – an absolute favorite of mine.

After almost 30.000 steps on the day before, we obviously have not had walked enough yet, so we started the next day with a sunny stroll around Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.

After expecting gloomy and rainy days, we couldn’t stop saying ‘I cannot believe how lucky we are with the weather’ about 200 times a day. But seriously, the coloured houses of Notting Hill are even more spectacular in direct sunlight.

To get into the christmassy part of the trip, we went to ‘Winter Wonderland’ – an enormously large christmas market located right in the heart of Hyde Park.

To our surprise, most of the booths had a German theme. You could find a Bavarian village, German bratwurst or traditional Glühwein at every corner. But to be fair – the English christmas markets would not stand a chance against German ones when it comes to festivity and coziness.

No Christmas trip to London is fully complete without a little shopping excursion to Harrods. They have truly taken their decor game to a completely new level. I need to say, this picture does not do it any justice at all, but I was so hypnotized that I only remembered to take a picture when we were already about to leave.

No matter how much damage might have been done during the Christmas shopping, the festive feelings only truly arise when the sun has set and all the lights have been switched on.

Fake snow flying through the crisp air on Bond Street, people drinking mulled wine at Trafalgar Square, and the angels glittering on Regent Street – as soon as the lights are switched on, so is the magic.
While Christmas is often called ‘the most wonderful time of the year‘, in reality, it can also be the hardest time of the year for a lot of people. So, whether it is your family, your friends, or simply your cat – I hope you get to spend this Christmas with someone you love and find the time to get some rest. I am sending you all the love and best wishes for the holidays.
Merry Christmas everyone!
A MONTH IN BALI
13. December 2022
Choosing the pictures that I wanted to include in this post, has definitely taken a while. From an original album of about 850 pictures, I have now narrowed it down to 12 pictures that actually made the cut.
During my trip to Bali, I stayed in four different locations in Uluwatu, Ubud, and Canggu. So in this post, I will talk about what I did in the different areas and all the places I loved on this absolutely remarkable island.
ULUWATU

When you are looking for the most beautiful beaches, you definitely need to go to Uluwatu, in the southern part of Bali. As you can see in this picture of Nyang Nyang Beach, it is endless and completely empty. Since it was a bit outside of Uluwatu centre, we needed to rent a scooter to get there, but it was lovely to spend a few hours on the beach by ourselves after visiting Thomas Beach and Blue Point Beach the days before, which were both also absolutely breathtaking but way busier than this one.

During our time in Uluwatu, we stayed at an AirBnB at D’Padang, which was the ideal location for us. Beautiful breakfast spots, cafés, restaurants, and amazing beaches were only a short walk away. We only ever took the scooter to go to Uluwatu Temple or beaches that were a little further away. The picture above shows a street sign we saw on the side of the road on our way to breakfast and it perfectly depicts how beautiful and colourful the area of Uluwatu is at pretty much every corner.

If you stay in Bali for a while and have some free time to spare, I can only recommend you to take a few hours off of sightseeing and your action-filled itineraries to just lie down for a while, relax at one of the countless beaches, and take in the beauty of Bali.
UBUD

If you travel for long enough, you will eventually get to a point where things do not go to plan. We reached that point when we got to Ubud. A region that, in comparison to some of the more western-influenced parts of Bali, still feels very original. There, you can find multiple temples, waterfalls, and beautiful rice fields.
The morning after we got there, both of us woke up with what is called “Bali Belly”. It is so common that tourists get food poisoning when visiting Bali, that they even gave it its own nickname – wonderful… Of course, we needed to get the full Bali experience and were not spared of the bad parts. Luckily, the sickness did not last too long, and were were able to extend our stay in Ubud so we could at least experience the area on our last day there.

Our trusted Bali Tour Guide Putu took us to beautiful rice fields and the Ubud Water Temple. Another clear recommendation of mine! I did not include any pictures of the temple to respect the people who were praying and washing themselves in the water but it was so wonderful to experience that part of the culture.

Our day continued with a coffee and tea tasting. We had the opportunity to try Kopi Luwak. The processing might sound questionable at first but the taste is really good and unlike any other coffee I have ever tasted before, so if you get the chance – try it!
“Kopi Luwak is Indonesian coffee that is made from partially digested coffee beans eaten and defecated by a civet. […] The steep cost [hundreds of dollars per pound] is a direct result from the drawn-out process of the cultivation of Kopi Luwak beans, unlike other coffee beans. This bean is defined by its processing. First a civet will actually cherry pick the beans and once consumed, the beans pass through the intestines and ferment. Due to the presence of digestive enzymes in the civet digestive tract, proteins inherent to the bean are broken down. These processes are believed to add to the overall flavor profile and are therefore necessary for the production of authentic Kopi Luwak.”

We finished our Ubud exploration with a waterfall tour through the jungle. We visited Suwat and Kanto Lampo Waterfalls. While Suwat Waterfall was very quiet without many people there, Kanto Lampo was the direct opposite. You had to wait in line in the water to get the chance to take some photos but the tour guides there were incredible and took the craziest photos of you (that are not shown here because I don’t see spicy bikini photos in a waterfall as a part of this blog but trust me, they are amazing :D)
CANGGU

For the final part of our trip, we came to Canggu – probably the most touristy region of Bali. Since we only had a few days left before my friend needed to fly back, we treated ourselves to an unbelievable apartment. Waking up and seeing Bali’s rice fields right outside your window? Ugh, how I miss it!

This sunset dinner at Skool Kitchen was one of the best dinner experiences I have had so far. Everything was just. perfect. The restaurant sits on top of one of Canggu’s most famous beach clubs and the culinary experience is worth every single penny. For Bali standards, the prices were relatively high, but compared to European prices? Here, you definitely would not have been able to get such a qualitative three course menu for nearly the same price.

As you might have noticed by now, food played a major role for us 😀 We spent a month on the hunt for the best avocado toast in Bali – and we found it! Sister Fields in Seminyak is THE place to go if you are a breakfast lover! And if you enjoy wellness, I have had the best massage of my life right across the street, at Spring Spa. A full body massage, followed by a foot massage and a rose quartz facial – if this doesn’t sound like the absolute 2,5hr treatment of dreams, then I don’t know what does.

When my friend flew back home and I had another week to spend by myself, I often started the morning with a Pilates session at Revive & Pilates in Canggu. You could book a 7-day-unlimited-pass for their classes and beach club which was perfect for me. I lived right around the corner, so in the morning, I went to pilates, then got breakfast and took a shower, before heading over to the beachclub where I spent the rest of the day.

After doing plenty of exploring over the first few weeks, I was happy to spend those last days just relaxing, not doing too much but enjoying the weather, the beaches, and all the great food of course.
For a whole month of travelling, this blog post was just a very condensed recap of what happened. So if you would like to see some more of my time in Bali, head over to my instagram and check out the story highlight with all the details of the trip!
A WEEK IN SINGAPORE
8. November 2022
Long before graduating, I decided that once I finished my degree, I would treat myself to a spectacular trip. I didn’t know where I would want to go or what I would want to do then.
But sometimes, life throws the most perfect opportunities at you and allows you to write the most beautiful stories. And that is exactly what happened here.

When I heard that one of my closest friends from Hamburg would be moving to Singapore, I instantly saw that as an exciting option for my post-grad travels.
To make it worth the long journey, I decided to spend a week in Singapore followed by a month in Bali, Indonesia. The post about that part will be up next, but first things first.

Luckily, I did not really struggle with jetlag at all, but we still spent the first day just chilling at my friend’s gorgeous apartment. She had only moved in some weeks prior but had already outdone herself with decorating it beautifully and managed to create a welcoming home on the other side of the world.

When in Singapore, the one attraction you simply cannot miss out on is Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay. We had a dinner reservation for the rooftop bar, but decided to get there a bit early and stroll through the mall to experience everything in daylight as well.

I can tell you, Singapore is nice to look at during the day but it gets simply breathtaking at night. That is probably also the reason why this is my first blog post with a higher density of quite dark coloured photos. I just couldn’t resist sharing them all.

Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take a picture like this myself because there we just too many people standing around and you can actually only go directly to the pool if you are a guest of the hotel. That is why, to give you an impression of the beauty, I snuck in this picture from the official Marina Bay Sands website, so all the credits of this amazingly beautiful picture belong to them.

After having drinks and dinner up on the roof, we went down to Gardens by the Bay just in time for the light show. If you are ever going to Singapore, this daily light show with music should definitely be on top of your bucket list!

After checking the super-touristy things off my bucket list, it was time to explore what else Singapore has to offer. We went on a hike in the MacRitchie Reservoir, a full on jungle which was only about 10 minutes away from my friend’s apartment – crazy to think about.

Another part of Singapore is the island of Sentosa right off the southern coast. Perfectly suited for a day trip. We took the cable car, went for a walk by the beach and had lunch in one of the many beach clubs. The vegan burger and frozé at Tanjong Beach Club? Clear recommendation!

Back in town, we did some more exploring by just strolling around the city and discovering new places. What fascinated me about Singapore was how green it was everywhere. The country managed to keep the balance between modern skyscrapers and new real estate developments on the one hand and beautiful greenery on the other.

On my last day in Singapore, we spontaneously visited the ‘Hermès in the making’ exhibit where you could meet the artisans from the original atelier in Paris who told you everything about their craft. Getting an inside into the history and production process of some of their most famous pieces was very educational and fun. You definitely gained a deeper appreciation for the beautiful pieces. And doing it right at the Marina Bay Sands just felt extra special.

My time in Singapore ended with one last dinner at Marina Bay Sands and one final glance at the incredible skyline. It was so hard to say goodbye.
But, a wonderful time in Bali awaited me and you can be certain that I took a lot of pictures to share with you here. That post will probably be suuuper long, I’m already overwhelmed by deciding what pictures to cut out…
If you don’t want to miss out on anything and see all about the details of my trip, you should head over to my instagram and check out my story highlights.
I will be back soon with all the Bali content, I promise. Until then, I wish you all a wonderful week.
ANNIVERSARY TRIP TO SYLT
2. November 2022
Hey babes 💕 I hope you’re doing great, welcome back and welcome to the first of many travel posts 😏😍

To celebrate my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary, my mom’s birthday, and also my graduation 😅 we spent some days by the beach in Sylt, probably Germany’s most famous island 😊
It was the first time going there for all of us and we all loved it🤩 we booked an incredible AirBnB right by the beach and had the best time exploring 🥳

We started every day with a long breakfast in our sunny apartment! Starting your morning with a mimosa just instantly makes your entire day better 😂😂

We were super lucky with the weather, so we rented some bikes to explore the island 😊 I haven’t gone on a proper bike ride in a very long time, it was so much fun 🤩 I can only recommend doing that when in Sylt, the cycling roads are great and you can really see a lot in a single day 😍

After biking around for hours, we got back to the apartment, grabbed some cold drinks from the fridge, and made our way down to the beach ☀️

The trip was filled with a lot of great food also 🤤 Whenever I am close to the ocean and spend my days on the beach, I always start craving seafood 😅 So I was very lucky because WOW! Fish, mussels, oysters, whatever – Sylt offers you great seafood options, super fresh, super delicious 😍 I am always a bit careful when it comes to eating seafood because I have quite a sensitive stomach, but during this trip I wasn’t worried at all, I just enjoyed every bit 🤩

My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on the trip and we spent the day drinking more mimosas, eating more great food, and were just having a good time 😊💕

The day after, it was my mom’s birthday 🥳🥂 She chose to just spend it by the beach, laying in the sun and going for loooong walks, so that’s exactly what we did 😅😍

The sunsets were unbelievable, so after dinner, we ended every single day with going for a walk by the beach and watching the sunset 🤭🤩
After going home, I only had two days for unpacking and packing my suitcase again before going on my next adventure which I booked suuuper spontaneously 😅 I am still figuring out how I want to structure the posts about that trip because I have way too many great pictures 😂😍
So stay tuned, they’re coming soon 😏😍 Until then, take care loves 💕
Last-Minute girls trip to spain
31. October 2021
Hey babes💕 Today, I’ll treat you with a quick blog post about my very spontaneous girls trip to Spain☀️

My friend and I were both in need of a summer vacation since she had just finished her Bachelor thesis and I worked all summer because of my internship🙈
So we decided very last-minute to just go for it, booked a relaxing vacation, and flew to the Canary Island of Gran Canaria😍
I’ve been to the area before, my friend has never been there, and we both didn’t know the hotel we would be staying at☺️

Let me tell you, this resort was just 🤩😍🤩😍
We stayed at the Hotel Tabaiba Princess Maspalomas. The picture you can see above is completely unedited, it just shows the pure beauty of the pool area and a slowly setting sun☀️ This was where we spent our days, just laying in the sun, taking a dip in the pool here and there, eating A LOT since we booked all inclusive – the best decision for this kind of vacation that we mostly spent at the resort itself😊

We were truly two grannies on tour🧑🏼🦳😂 We woke up pretty early, watched the sunrise on our balcony, and were always two of the first people at breakfast, lunch, and dinner🤩 Every night, there were some activities going on but we were so exhausted from doing nothing all day that we were in bed by 9.30 pm🥳

The entire resort was so pretty and modern but still super cozy, exactly what we were hoping for😍 There were small seating areas like this in every corner where you could just sit down, relax, and maybe drink a cocktail before heading to dinner🤩

If you know me, you know that palm trees and blue skies are my favorite view🥺😍 I just got back from a summer vacation and am already down to get on a plane and do it all over again✈️
But until then, it’s time to enjoy the falling leaves🍂 and get into that Christmas spirit🎅🏼🎄
I’ll talk to you soon loves and then I’ll share some colder fall content with y’all🍂😊💕
My covid getaway
Hey babes! I hope you’re all doing fine during these weird times! In today’s post, I’m gonna take you on a little vacation to the canary island of Fuerteventura. Before the infection rate has increased on the canary islands, my family and I were lucky enough to enjoy a little Covid getaway in the sun☀️

We booked the trip before the pandemic started and deciding whether to go or not, was not an easy call – let me tell you😅 But the situation seemed to be somehow working out at that time, so we went! And I’m so happy we did!!!😍

We stayed at the R2 Rio Calma Hotel & Spa and it was great! The hotel was super empty and the staff really did a great job in taking care that everybody was having a good time while staying safe. We were required to wear a mask in all the community areas and especially at the buffet. But due to the very low hotel occupancy, you could always keep a safe distance to the other guests and enjoy your vacation with good conscience.😷😊

The hotel is located right at the ocean, so we walked down to the beach almost every day 🌊

The water was so warm and shallow, we couldn’t resist to take a swim – again, almost every day 😍

A bit further down the beach, the waves were more intense and on the windy days the water was packed with kite surfers. Who also loves watching them?😝 I never get tired of it and I’m always thinking about how they make it look so easy and effortlessly, when I would probably break my neck trying it😂

After spending the days in the sun and walking on the beach, we were more than hungry and happy to have a delicious dinner buffet every night😍There were always some basic foods – pasta, pizza, etc. – and then they switched their “theme” every night to a different country, which made the whole culinary experience very interesting! One night, I had the most delicious tacos ever! I ate two whole plates – gotta say, I was suuuper full after but it was absolutely worth it👍🏼😂

To burn some calories before having dinner, we often played some tennis.🎾I mean, look at this location – a beautiful tennis court, palm trees and the ocean in the background… Even with some grey clouds in this picture – who wouldn’t like to spend their evenings that way? I always get very dreamy thinking back☺️

Finishing this blog post, I had to share my favorite view looking up from my sunbed – blue sky and palm trees😍As an absolute summer person, I always get super duper happy as soon as I see palm trees😂Does anyone feel the same way?
Anyway, I hope this gave you a little time out from your everyday stress and you could maybe daydream a bit about summer, blue skies, sandy beaches and palm trees☺️😍 Let’s all hope that our next getaways aren’t that far away…
Until then, stay healthy loves!💕
WHERE I LIVE – HAMBURG

Almost exactly two years ago now, I left my hometown and moved to Hamburg to go to university. The city is only an hour away from Bremen which is where I grew up, so I already visited it in the past and knew I would like living there.

But when I actually moved… I fell in love.😍
With walks around the city lake called the Alster when its water glitters in the sunlight, with the variety of things to do and restaurants to go to (my hungry ass always looking for food), with my tiny apartment, and last but certainly not least, I fell in love with the people.☺️
I met so many wonderful human beings at university and I was fortunate to quickly call them my friends. Without them, leaving my hometown and moving to another city all by myself would just not have been the same.💕

https://instagram.com/babilongrafie?igshid=jy9d693gxi18
But to those of you who don’t know the city of Hamburg and have never been…
It’s gorgeous. Whether you visit in the summertime when the cherry blossoms turn the whole park around the lake purple, or you choose to come around Christmas to visit one of Germany’s magical Christmas markets – you won’t regret it.🎅🏼

https://opium.hamburg/storyboard/detail/die-alster.html
In my eyes, Hamburg is the most beautiful city in Germany, and, in this country, I wouldn’t wanna live anywhere else.☺️
