RECAP: SIX MONTHS IN STOCKHOLM

Hey babes💕 I hope you all had a great week so far!

I’m procrastinating on some university stuff right now and reminiscing about my time in Stockholm🙈 So I thought about doing a little recap of some of my favorite moments of my time in Sweden🇸🇪

This will definitely be one of my longer posts – we have a lot of good memories to look back on😊

Of course, I have to start this post with a typical Stockholm view – Nybroplats😍 From here, you can take ferries to various places around the city. Two of my favourite routes were the one to Djurgården (where I loved to go for long walks in the beautiful nature) and the one bringing you of of the city to the archipelago, the perfect location and travel distance for one-day- or weekend-trips🤩

Speaking of water, one of my favorite spots to calm down a bit without having to leave the city was the small park at Norr Mälarstrand😊 I think the picture speaks for itself, so I won’t even try to explain the peace I felt everytime I went for a walk and watched the sunset there.😍

I was super lucky with my internship, my colleagues, and the location of my office, and since it only took a five minute walk from our office, we sometimes went for fun afterworks at Strandvägen ☺️🍸

At work, I got to spend a lot of time inside our really cozy conference rooms😂 But with comfy seats like these and a hot tea, those long calls weren’t bad at all😊

Since my apartment was located outside of the city center, it was easy for me to enjoy countless beautiful sunsets at insanely pretty places like this one😍

And when I got home at night, my cozy apartment welcomed me. This apartment made me feel at home in a place where I’ve never been to before and where I started off without knowing anybody.😊

Strolling around the city, I discovered places like this.😍 The spirit of Stockholm is unlike any other city I’ve been to. I can’t say what exactly makes it so special to me but during my time there I just felt – good.

After a 10 minute walk from my apartment, you got to Winterviken where I loved to go for a swim during the summer☀️

Another thing I did during summer, was to celebrate Swedish Midsommar🤩 It was funny because we were a group of only German people, all spending some time working abroad, and we had the best day ever😂 We created our own little Swedish buffet, then brought it down to the water and had a picnic😍

If you’d ask me what I miss most about Stockholm, the great food would definitely be on the top my list😂🤤 I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed food as much as I did there, and I definitely gained some weight during the past months but it was soooo worth it😂🤩 Ugh, what I would do to have brunch at Nobis Hotel right now🤤

I’m gonna end this last Stockholm post the way I often ended my days there – with a beautiful sunset at Skinnarviksberget😍

I really had the best time and I know that I will happily look back on it forever, so thank you Stockholm for treating me this good, I’ll definitely be back soon!💕
