I MOVED TO SWEDEN

Hey babes💕 I’m back – and I got news!🙈 I moved to Sweden!🤪 OMG, I still cannot really wrap my head around it… But damn, I moved to Sweden😂

Okay, step by step, I’m gonna tell you everything😊

So, as some of you may know, I’m studying foreign trade and international management back in Hamburg, Germany. Part of this bachelor’s degree is a mandatory internship abroad. With everything going on with the global pandemic, I was looking for a country in which it was as probable as possible that my internship would take place and not be cancelled.

So I chose Sweden🇸🇪

After finishing my final exams, I packed up my apartment, brought my stuff back to my parents’ house, and got ready for the move🙈 I had to take two different covid tests but luckily, everything went super smooth😊 Being back at airports felt so weird after all this time of being stuck at home with my wanderlust🤩

My apartment here is super cozy, it instantly felt like home😍 I was looking for quite a long time before I found it and god damn believe me, it wasn’t an easy journey… It’s quite a long story, so I’m gonna talk about that in a separate post… 🤭

Anyways, I’m very happy to have arrived one week before I start my internship, so I have a few days to settle in and to explore the city😊

Today, the sun woke me up and I started my day with coffee in bed☀️ I was super excited to go out and explore the city😍 So that’s what I did:

I took a long walk through the city and, as most of the times when I explore new places for the first time, I didn’t really use a map, I just wandered around and eventually followed the sun to the waterfront😍 I found so many beautiful spots just on that one walk today, I can’t wait to see what other places I’ll find on my next strolls around town😊

I mean, seriously?😍 Look at this, it’s so beautiful🤩 I’m super excited to start my internship next week but then I’ll be working full time and won’t have that much time to explore, which makes me a bit sad🙈 I just hope that I’ll quickly adapt to that new rhythm and will have enough energy to use the upcoming weekends to further explore this stunning city😍

I’ll be back next week with a recap of my first week at work and further info on my internship, my apartment and everything else but for now, I’ll enjoy this sunny weather and try to make the most of my free time😊 Have a great weekend loves💕
