Hey babes! Due to the Corona Virus and my three month semester break – which is almost over now – I spent the last couple of months at my parents’ house and had a looot of freetime. So I decided to paint and redecorate my old room.

Since I’m an only child and I couldn’t meet my friends (thanks Covid…), I had to do it by myself. I knew I wanted a pretty minimalistic look, so I drove to the local hardware store, bought white paint and the supplies I needed, and just started.💪🏼

Here is everything I bought at the hardware store👆🏼. Btw, I only spent about 55€ for the entire project! Isn’t that so cool how little money you only need to make such a big difference??💸

The first step was preparing the room – which meant covering the whole floor, the heater, the window frame, and my large wardrobe with foil.

Then I started painting – and man – it was fun! After finishing the second layer on the second day, I was really exhausted and my hands felt like they were dying when I continued with building the new furniture I got – but it was absolutely worth it and I was also a bit proud of doing it all by myself – start to finish. That’s the independent woman vibe we’re going for ladies! 😝💪🏼

Here, I have a little before and after photo – you can clearly see how the yellowish wall color disappeared and the whole vibe is way more modest and mature. I love it.😍
I have now returned to Hamburg for the new semester, so I couldn’t really finish decorating – but I will update you on the finished look as soon as I get back to it! Until then, this is all for now. I hope you all have a wonderful week!💕
